Territory and microclimate.
Thanks to a favourable microclimate enhanced by the vicinity to the coast, the vines are cultivated in fertile soil , excellent for the production of high quality grapes. The land is situated on different levels; low hills in the Cecina river valley,50 metres above sea level, to hills that rise to 150-200 metres above sea level.
As well as traditionally Tuscan grapes such as Trebbiano and Sangiovese the vineyard also cultivates and is currently planting Vermentino grapes and important international grapes such as Cabernet, Sauvignon,Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Sirah and Chardonnay.
