The family and the staff

La Regola’s story begins in the late 19th century when the Nuti family purchased a small plot of land in the locality of “La Regola,” in Riparbella, to produce wine and oil for family use.

In the small cellar under the house, called “cillieri,” the first La Regola wines were made: simple, authentic wines for family consumption, totaling 30 demijohns.
This marked the beginning of a journey spanning five generations.

Luca Nuti

After three generations — from great-grandfather Corrado to grandfather Nilo and father Rolando — in 1990 Luca, the firstborn, earned a degree in Agricultural Sciences and transformed the small family production into a structured winery. He planted new vineyards and began selling the first bottles, carefully overseeing the vineyards and production process to achieve natural, recognizable, and high-quality wines.

Flavio Nuti

From 2000, Flavio, a lawyer with a master’s in business administration and a sommelier, joined his brother Luca. He manages administration, marketing, and international business relations. He conceived the new winery not only as a space for traditional winemaking but also as a creative environment where culture and art intertwine with wine. From this idea, “A Regola d’Arte” was born, a project that highlights the harmony between people, nature, and creativity, making the winery a unique experience.
